Boy I can really relate to that. At one time I was very affluent then everything went to crap. After suffering losing a house and most of my possesions, I became quite a horder of the money that I have now. I do give occassionally however, it is restrained somewhat. I also don’t buy myself things I want anymore. I only buy what I absolutely need. I do like to buy for others in my family but I just can’t seem to do it for myself.

I have been called a spend thrift more times than once. I have a really hard time spending my money on things I consider extravagant. Even when it is for an appliance or something like that. Something that would make my life easier just isn’t a good enough reason for me.
