    I am not an organized person and it is one of the main things I need to work on for myself. I think I should start a schedule and try to follow it. If I stick to the schedule maybe I could get more done in the day.

    I used to be a lot more organized than I am now. Living with someone who was totally chaotic and organizing life for both of us wore me out. I’m working on getting better again as I set up my new home without a roommate. One of my favorite tips is to only touch things once. I do this mostly with my mail, and it’s been a lot easier to clean up other areas when there aren’t stacks of mail to go through again and again and again.

    Valid points! Organizing is about calculating. It’s hard to do that all inside your brain, so the solution is to write it down. I even write down the things I need to buy or my goals for the next 6 months. I bring my small sticky notes everywhere nowadays, so when I can’t use my phone, at least I have the manual method with me.
